휘슬과 코오롱 스포츠와 협업 전시 ‹유령 물질: Spectral Matters›전은 김경태, 김주원, 김태윤의 작품을 통해 현대 사회의 무분별한 소비와 생산이 끊임없이 반복되는 모습을 살펴본다. 본 전시는 소비되는 물질의 구성요소, 사용 방식, 순환과정을 주제로 세 작가가 주변 환경에서 발견한 사물, 장면, 소리를 새롭게 조합한 것이다. 이 전시를 통해 작품에 직간접적으로 드러나는 소비의 순환 고리를 유추해보고, 지속 가능한 삶을 위해 개개인이 체현할 수 있는 역할에 관해 함께 생각해 보고자 한다.

The exhibition ‹Spectral Matters› is a collaboration between Whistle and Kolon at Kolon Sport Hannam. Through the works of Juwon Kim, Kyoungtae Kim and Taeyoon Kim, this exhibition examines modern society’s indiscriminate repetition of consumption and production. ‹Spectral Matters› features new combinations of objects, scenes and sounds found by these three artists, taking for their subjects the components, methods of use and circulation of consumed materials. Through this exhibition, we may infer the cycle of consumption—either directly or indirectly revealed within the artwork—and deliberate together upon the roles the individual may take to live a more sustainable life.
