배헤윰
휘슬은 ‹프리즈 서울 2022›에 아시아 총 8개국의 영갤러리 10곳을 선정한 '포커스 아시아' 섹터에 배헤윰과 참여한다. 배헤윰은 추상회화의 내부에서 맺어지는 형태와 색의 관계성에 관해 고찰하며 발생하는 사유의 진행 과정을 구현해왔다. 최근에는 회화라는 전통 매체가 현대에 미디어로써 어떻게 읽히고 소통이 가능한지 집중하고 있다. 작가는 ‹프리즈 서울›에서 두 가지 주요 개념인 ‘스코어링’과 ‘잠금해제’라는 감각에 대한 작품을 선보인다.

Whistle presents Hejum Bä in Focus Asia at ‹Frieze Seoul›, a section composed of 10 galleries from 8 different countries. Bä’s work focuses on the relationship structures and systems formed through chained action in the abstract painting process, and the ensuing possibilities of tacit communication. In ‹Frieze Seoul›, Bä presents works that touch on the two concepts of scoring and unlocking.
